The X-files writer James Wong has joined the X-Men franchise as an X-Man.

Wong, who starred in the FX drama “The Originals,” will be the first X-man to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Wang will play Agent Nick Fury on the Fox series, which is produced by Fox Searchlight and written by Fox executive producer Scott Neustadter.

The X2 actor also plays Captain James “Mister X” Rhodes on the XMen: Apocalypse, and is currently set to reprise his role as Professor X on the upcoming X-men film “The Exorcist,” which is directed by Bryan Singer.

Wongs character was originally created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and his character is the first character to be created by Marvel Comics, the comics that tie in with the Marvel movies.

Woo is currently the host of the “X-Men” podcast, where he has appeared on several episodes including the season finale of the first season.
